ACTIVE GEOANCHOR, INC. (AGI), formerly known as Active Ventures & Co., was first established in 1996 as one of the first few Geotechnical Engineering Contractors which specializes in the use soil nailing and anchoring in the Philippines. In 1997, AGI had its first big break when it bagged the slope protection package for the PBCom Tower which, for 17 years, held the distinction of being the tallest building in the Philippines. It also featured one of the deepest excavations at the time with seven basement levels. Since then, the company has successfully done slope protection works for over a hundred projects and has even expanded its range to include services in ground improvement. Finally in 2012, the company was incorporated.
