Qualifications:

Licensed and registered Mining EngineerPrevious licensed and registered Blast Foreman is considered an asset.Significant (five years plus) mine engineering experience in an open pit production / supervisory role, including:Reasonable (three years plus) mine operations experience in a large open pit environment.Experience in the gold mining industry.Knowledge of open pit mining technology and heavy production equipment.Knowledge of open pit mining planning and control systems.Knowledge of open pit gold mining methods.Success as an effective supervisor.Ability to lead a team safely and improve team safety awareness.Ability to improve team productivity.Experience in developing of continuous improvement ideas.Experience in developing and mentoring less experienced staff.Ability to gain a high level understanding of all relevant legislation affecting the employment and safety of persons in the mining industry in the Philippines.Proficiency in the use of mine planning software, ideally Surpac and MineSched.

 Role Purpose:

Provides leadership, technical direction for, and undertakes supervision of mine operations activities including ore and waste mining, the mine fleet and operators, dewatering, short term planning and rehabilitation activities.Ensures the timely delivery of ore to the Processing Plant.Provides alternate mine management and supervision of the Mining Operations Section as required.Ensures all mine operations activities comply with and are in accordance with the relevant laws, regulations, standards and operating proceduresDevelops plans and tactics to improve and optimise mine productivities and maximise the operations profitability

Key Duties:

Ensure personnel are adequately inducted in their work area and are aware of all workplace rules and critical procedures.Ensure all incidents are reported and investigated according to Company policy and statutory requirements and all recommended corrective actions are completed.Actively contribute to site safety and environmental policy and new initiatives and implement change as directed by the Mining Manager and management team.Ensure specific responsibilities in the FCF Occupational Health & Safety Policy are carried out and comply with the requirements of the FCF Annual Safety and Health Management Plan (ASHMP).Ensure all incidents are reported and investigated according to Company policy and statutory requirements and all recommended corrective actions are completed.Ensure the work areas are regularly inspected and identified hazards are eliminated or controlled.Actively promote, monitor and enforce compliance of personnel with safe work practices.

FCF Minerals Corporation (FCF) was incorporated in the Philippines and was duly registered with the Philippine SEC on December 3, 2001 to engage in continuing exploration, development and commercial operation of mineral claims with full power and authority to do any and all acts, things, business and activities which are related, incidental or conducive directly or indirectly to the attainment of the foregoing objectives as a mining company. In 2009, the Company converted its exploration permit into a Financial or Technical Assistance Agreement (FTAA) with the Philippine Government. This agreement covers an initial terms of twenty five (25) years and renewable for another twenty five (25) years thereafter. Under the FTAA, the Company was granted the exclusive rights to explore, mine, utilize, process, refine, market, transport, export and dispose of minerals and mineral products and by-products that may be derived or produced from the contract area containing 3,093 hectares located in Barangay Runruno, Quezon, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines. The FTAA was registered with the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) on October 28, 2009.
