The Channel Marketing Assistant Manager is responsible for the development and execution of all marketing initiatives for all three retail channels: Toby’s Sports, runnr and urbanAthletics, with the goal of growing market share and revenue.
Responsibilities:
• Lead data-based development and implementation of best-in-class integrated marketing schemes across brick & mortar and ecommerce for 3 retail channels: Toby’s Sports, runnr and urbanAthletics, including marketplaces (LazMall, ShopeeMall, Zalora)
• Proactively develop and manage omnichannel customer experience and marketing plans to meet and exceed revenue and financial health objectives, deliver winning speed-to-market solutions, and grow market share for both brick & mortar and ecommerce business.
• Lead the strategic and tactical evaluation of marketing campaigns, including design, control segmentation, implementation, reporting, analysis and recommendations.
• Lead activities to drive exposure of the Toby’s Sports, runnr and urbanAthletics brands within the retail industry and the media, through public relations, events and other branding initiatives.
• Craft communication briefs with clear marketing objectives and KPIs
• Plan and control marketing spend for all 3 retail channels across online and offline initiatives.
• Devise strategies and create new customer acquisition programs that would drive traffic to stores and ecommerce sites, as well as achieve and exceed target ROAS.
• Oversee performance marketing initiatives - Display Ads, Social Networking Ads, SEO/SEM, EDM (email marketing) for all 3 retail channels. • Understand and provide insights on customer behavior based on media activity & related site behavior using Google Analytics, and develop customer experience and growth marketing strategies based on these insights
• Review product, customer satisfaction/feedback, and recommend action points based on data and business strategy.
• Work with internal departments, creative teams and digital agencies from planning to implementing campaigns.
• Partner actively with store and ecommerce operations teams to align marketing support initiatives with monthly sales targets.
• Work closely with Category and Brand Heads to create category/brand -driven growth marketing strategies aligned with overall business strategy for each of the 3 retail channels, as well as to provide insights and direction on future marketing and new product development opportunities and activities.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or relevant field (Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, Mass Communication)
• Minimum 4 years of working experience in marketing and brand management in a leadership role
• With experience in developing and executing growth marketing strategies, preferably in the retail industry
• Experience in managing agencies and multifunctional teams is a must.
• With extensive experience and knowledge in Facebook Ads Manager, Google AdWords and other digital platforms.
• Ability to marshal resources (people, funding, material, support) to get things done; can orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal; uses resources effectively and efficiently.
• With excellent organizational skills and the ability to work well with different groups
• With strong Project Management skills, and can lead multiple projects effectively and simultaneously.
• Strong oral and written skills in both English and Tagalog, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
