Trust Accountant (AU Real Estate)
Duties and Responsibilities:
● Day to day administration of the Trust account using Property Me and other internal systems.
● Daily Reconciliation of Trust Account and maintaining records
● Mid-month and end of month procedures
● Accurate recording of all transactions (property management and sales), including creditor invoices, disbursements to owners and vendors, receipt of rent
● Completing all necessary documentation, correspondence and form preparation. associated with the smooth operations of the various Trust Accounts as required by The Act
● Additional administrative tasks as required
● Compliance with trust account legislation
● Following company procedures
● Following company customer service standards Qualifications and Experience:
● Degree in Accounting or related
● Minimum of 2 year experience working in an Accounts role in the Australian Real Estate industry
● Good understanding of office management and accounting principles
● Experience in using PropertyMe
● Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite
● Good communication and interpersonal skills
● High in organisational skills and attention to detail
● Ability to manage time and prioritize workload according to business requirements
● High in analytical and critical thinking skills
● Experience in using Re-Leased software would be an advantage
