JOB BRIEF
The Employee Relations Officer will assist the Employee Relations Manager with respect to Labor Relations, Case Management, Disciplinary Actions, Employee Coaching, Conflict Resolution, as well as Grievance Handling. Further, he or she is also expected to assist and participate in Engagement Projects that will be rolled out from time to time.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Regularly handle labor relations issues; Handle and manage incident reports received by the team; Prepare or assist in the preparation of notice to explain whenever necessary
2. Address employee inquiries relative to company policies and procedures in a timely manner
3. Guide, coach, and give sound advice to people managers to new or challenging situations, improve performance or work behaviors, and address serious misconduct
4. Handle conflict resolution and employee grievance whenever necessary
5. Prepare Return to Work Order (RTWO) as requested by the stakeholders; Monitor the RTWOs released from the first letter up to the last letter; Create and maintain RTWO tracker; Prepare summary report of RTWOs on a weekly basis
6. Create and maintain a structured database of employee relations issues to be submitted to the ER Manager on a weekly basis
7. Render assistance in the conduct of Admin Hearing; Assist in the preparation of the required documents relative to Admin Hearing such as Admin Hearing Invite, Minutes of The Meeting, etc. Create and maintain a filing system (softcopy and hardcopy) of all supporting documents relative to Admin Hearings conducted
8. Assist and participate in the conceptualization, planning, and implementation of HR Engagement Projects such as Satisfaction Surveys, Corporate Social Responsibility Programs/ Community Outreach Programs, Rewards and Recognition Programs, Theme Nights, etc.
9. Other tasks that are related to the abovementioned that may be given from time to time
