Job Description

Position Title: Laboratory Manager

Office Assignment: Faculty of Science, Technology and Mathematics (FSTeM)

Salary: Php25,232/month

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in BS Chemistry, or equivalent;Must be a license chemist;Preferably with at least one (1) year of recruitment experience;Proficient with Microsoft Office applications;With excellent interpersonal and communications skills (written and oral);With work ethics and work efficiency;Can work under pressure and demonstrates a high level of emotional stability;Can work with minimal supervision;Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality; andWilling to work as a contract-of-service (COS) employee.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare purchase request and supplemental APP for chemical reagents of supplies that are urgently needed at the center;Monitoring the use of chemicals and recommending suitable reagents for a particular experiment, activity or research;In charge in the development of database of chemical reagents;Act as technical representation for purchase of goods, supplies and equipment; andAct as liaison staff in following up purchase request of chemical reagents, supplies and request for electrical works.Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the Associate Dean.
