Job Description

This position will support the new hire initiative and is responsible for onboarding newly hired sales professionals on all aspects of sales and business etiquette, including their successful ability to sell products. This role will drive revenue and sales force effectiveness by explicitly understanding and responding to Sales & Sales Management training & support needs.

This role will deliver the training content and methodology required to successfully onboard new employees. They will train sales professionals on skills, industry knowledge, business etiquette, products and the tools to enable their sale. This role will also provide ongoing training & support for all employees. They will be the point person for Sales and become subject matter experts on key products and content sources required by their segment and role. This role will also provide problem solving and technical expertise to ensure Sales receives the maximum utilization of CRM and other core sales tools.

Accountabilities:

Accountable for delivering training materials that will prepare newly hired employees to sell products.Accountable for delivering and implementing training programs for newly hired employees to improve understanding of product, industry and sales processes for multiple product offerings. Includes working with managers over the course of rep’s first 12 months to ensure long term retention and ability to apply in actual selling situations.Manages the development and execution of new hire training to new employees for multiple products. Subject Matter Expert (SME) for sales and sales operations on all ongoing training & support related questionsResponsible for maintaining consistent and effective sales market best practice.Initiates collaboration with Sales Tools team to provide timely support.Works closely with manager and Sales to solicit and fully understand Sales requirements for all sales tools.Fosters alliances across all levels of the Sales organization as well as cross-functional areas.Other adhoc tasks

Qualifications:

3-5 years’ experience in sales, CRM and training or related fieldsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceDeep expert knowledge and understanding of sales skills, strategies and tactics as well as internal sales processes for selling LexisNexis products.Deep understanding of virtual classroom techniques along with exceptional presentation skills that engage and challenge learners to drive revenue and market share by successfully selling Lexis Advance and other LexisNexis solutions.Excellent communication, presentation and project management skillsAbility to work and collaborate cooperatively within a team and across the organization matrix to achieve group and organizational goals.Ability to lead and manage multiple training projects consisting of conflicting priorities and working with individuals from different levels and segments of the organization.Good understanding of knowledge of LN business and operationsProven problem solving skills with the ability to function within ambiguity and bring clarity to complex situationsLeads and participates in multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously with flexibility and great attention to detail
