Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Technical Training Jr. Specialist – Safety, Health, and Environment to be based in Manila, Philippines

The role is primarily responsible in the end-to-end development of curriculum and courses which translates learning needs into a quality learning intervention by working directly with subject matter experts and stakeholders. The role also supports the coordination, implementation, and facilitation of AECOM Safety, Health, and Environment (SH&E) training and development programs and helpdesk management. Moreover, the role provides assistance on Learning Management System (LMS), authoring tool, technical support, and reporting to subject matter experts, stakeholders, and learners.

Responsibilities:

Work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to support strategic SH&E technical training goalsCollaborate with subject matter experts in the end-to-end process of training.Work with the operations, training, and quality teams to identify performance gaps related to a technical work function.Help in conceptualizing training modules, development programs, and materials based on identified needs of employees.Assist in the design and creation of multimedia assets and products for training.Assist in preparing training materials and other logistics for the training.Assist in creating learning courses in LMS and courses in learning pathways.Understand and analyze different training modalities (Instructure Led Training (ILT), Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT), Web based Training (WBT)) and make recommendations for blended approaches that fit the organization’s needs.Coordinate learning content with subject matter experts, create outline, develop training evaluation measures and training materials knowledge assessment, and test design.Host webinars for Virtual Instruction Led Training Sessions as requested.Monitor and ensure quality delivery of learning sessions.Register learners to vendor courses (PureSafety, Hazwoper 10 and 30 classes).Regularly provide feedback on content and recommend improvement of courseware.Facilitate different training and orientations as assigned.evaluates learner’s examination, provide records, and consolidate results.Modify and create programs, curriculum, WBT, ILT, and VILT training, learning pathways, and learning paths in LMS.Generate and analyze reports for status completions, course completions, learning hours, and user completions.Manage and deliver projects which will be assigned from time to time; work with subject matter experts, outside consultants, vendors, projects groups, and cross-functional teams as required.Update Learning Management System library of courses.Maintain and administer Learning Management System.Perform safety, health, and environment helpdesk duties including marking of completions.Escalate and analyze identified issues and concerns to the Team Lead for timely resolution.Perform simple but varied tasks in compliance with service level agreement, process, policies, and procedures.Assess identified issues and collate documentation to assist in investigating and in resolving common and recurring issues.Support selected simple process improvement initiatives to streamline processes.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree and/or at least 3 years of relevant work experience in curriculum planning and development with direct experience in creating learning programs and facilitating learning sessions.Intermediate proficiency in MS Office tools (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)Working knowledge and understanding in facilitation, online and in-person, and customizing learning content.Expertise in curriculum development and instructional design.Excellent project delivery skills within tight timescales.Experience creating reporting dashboards.Experience working in business process outsourcing, shared services, or a similar model with training related roles or other similar functions.Experience using systems such as LearnUpon, Degreed, Articulate360, Photoshop, and PremierPro or other similar LMS, LXP platforms and authoring tools.High-level of effective interpersonal communication skills both written and verbal.
