Procurement Assistant is responsible for the evaluation, selection, monitoring of performance or delivery, and re-evaluation of the best qualified vendor with the most competitive price to provide the requested goods and services to the end-users on a timely manner.Duties and Responsibilities:Request for quotations and perform proposal analysis to evaluate the cost-efficiency of the offer.Negotiate quotations under favorable terms to the Company to maximize cost savings without compromising the quality of the goods and services.Establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases to control spending on allowable levels.Coordinate with the vendors, the requestors, the project site personnel, and the Warehouse department regarding purchase and delivery for the efficient resolution of concerns and efficient processing of purchase transactions.Process the Purchase Orders and Work Orders in the Company’s ERP System to facilitate the purchase transactionMonitor the delivery of the items or the performance of the service at the intended location to confirm the accomplishment of the purchase transaction.Accredit vendors prior to transacting with them to ensure that the Company only does business with valid and qualified vendors.evaluate the performance of vendors in a timely manner to reinforce good performance or prevent repetition of poor performance.Prepare and submit Purchasing reports to aid business decisions.Prepare and monitor payment requests related to down payment transactions and service billings to compensate the vendors based on the agreed terms and conditions of the purchase transaction.Maintain a systematic and well-organized filing system for documentations related to purchases to ensure completeness of records and to provide easy access to reference.Provide back-up relief for other team members and perform ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned from time to time to provide support to the department and the Company.Qualifications:Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.Required language(s): English, FilipinoPreferably 1 to 2 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.With knowledge in construction material
