The proven leadership and solid reputation in the business of the moving force behind the Equicom Group have equipped Maxicare to continuously deliver the best healthcare service possible boosting its position as the leading HMO in the country.   History Milestones: 1987- Group of Doctors from Makati Medical center  and a few Businessmen established Maxicare with a vision for a better                healthcare for the company 1997- PCIB CIGNA entered into a joint venture with Maxicare to expand operations in the Philippines therefore changing the            company name to maxicare PCIB CIGNA Healthcare Corporation 2002- A merger with Equitable bank changed the company name to Maxicare EPCIB Healthcare             Maxicare also launched the flexiclaims system 2003- Name was change tio Maxicare Healthcare Corporation 2004- Maxicare reached its 1 Billion sales             Maxicare opened its Primary Care Center in the Medical City 2005- Maxicare launched its intelligent cards            Maxicare partnered with Medilink Inc to use POS terminals in hospitals and clinics for quick validation of membeship             status.            Maxicare opened its Cebu Sales office            Maxicare opened Primary Care Centers in St Lukes Medical Center and Cebu Dictor's Inc 2006- Equitable PCIB merge with BDO            Maxicare opened Delos Santos Medical Center PrimaryCare Center 2007- Maxicare launched its premium and platinum cards             Maxicare was acquired by Pin-An Holdings of the Antonio Go Group of Companies. 2008- Maxicare opened its Filomena Primary Care Center located in AMkati City 2009- Maxicare opened its 8th Primary Care Center in My Health Clinic, Festival Super Mall, Alabang, Muntinlupa City 2010- Maxicare opened Primary Care Centers at St Luke's Medical Center - Global City and Quezon City, My Health Clinic- Robinson's Cybergate (Cebu) Product & Services Full HMO Comprehensive Health Program Premium based program which includes In-Patient Care, Out-Patient Care, Annual Check-Up, Emergency  Care and Preventive Care (Wellness Campaigns, Immunization Programs, Health Counseling and Family Planning Counseling) Administrative Service (ASO) Program Founded type of healthcare program applicable for companies with over 300 employees whrein only actual usage of healthcare is paid for, without sacrificing the advantages of a regular healthcare program.
