Credit Information Corporation (CIC) is a newly-created Government-Owned and Controlled Corporation (GOCC) with a mandate to enhance and facilitate overall credit availability in the Philippines through a comprehensive, centralized and secure credit information system. It aims to collect, collate, and disseminate credit information to assist its members (the sources of credit data) in their credit decision and, at the same time, protect every consumer's credit profile by providing objective and factual information.
