Mid 19th Century Carpenter Furniture Maker Hand Forged Drill BitsThese are very nice unusual bits, the corkscrew one is very interesting.I purchased these in the 70's with several other items from 92 year old gentleman in WA State who was a blacksmith & came from a long line of blacksmiths going back to the late 1700's...He believes these were made by his grandfather in the early to mid 1800'sThese are in excellent condition & could still be used.They still have 19th century saw dust in some of the grooves.These have been together for over 160 years & am selling as pair only.
