COMPANY OVERVIEW:Atlas Fertilizer Corporation (AFC) is 100% Japanese owned and considered to be the oldest and one of the largest fertilizer manufacturing company in the Philippines, advancing for crop-specific and soil-specific farming technology.  We have control of 42% of the Philippine NPK market with an extensive distribution network in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.In 1957, Atlas Fertilizer Corporation (AFC) became a separate corporation under the umbrella of A. Soriano Corporation (ANSCOR) Group of Companies as a result of the official spun off of the Fertilizer Division of Atlas Consolidated Mining & Development Corporation (ACMDC) in Brgy. Lutopan, Toledo.  When AFC reached its 50 years of existence in the fertilizer industry in October 2007, it was also the time when it was fully owned and operated by Sojitz Corporation with Headquarters Office in Tokyo, Japan.Sojitz Corporation was fomed out of the union of Nichimen Corporation and Nissho Iwai Corporation, both companies that boast incredibly long histories.
