Mid 19th Century Carpenter Furniture Maker Hand Forged Drill Bits
These are very nice unusual bits, the corkscrew one is very interesting.
I purchased these in the 70's with several other items from 92 year old gentleman in WA State who was a blacksmith & came from a long line of blacksmiths going back to the late 1700's...
He believes these were made by his grandfather in the early to mid 1800's
These are in excellent condition & could still be used.
They still have 19th century saw dust in some of the grooves.
These have been together for over 160 years & am selling as pair only.
