Summary:
This role will be responsible for the major repair and troubleshooting of equipment by providing his technical specializations. He shall also attend all
breakdowns per his immediate superiors instruction. He shall train junior technicians to become specialists through a buddy system. He shall be responsible for assessing recommendations by vendors and service providers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform hydraulic and electrical repairs as well as preventative maintenanceTroubleshoot issues with electrical system of diesel engines, hydraulic and transmission system.Determine parts and tools are necessary to make repairsMaintain LBE in its optimum conditionWorks and collaborates with LBE operators and other techniciansMaintain a clean and safe work areaTrain electrical technicians through a buddy systemPerform and lead equipment overhaulingRecondition parts assembly for spare parts availabilityAssist vendors or service providers 's repair or maintenance activitiesValidate vendor's assessment before they recommendQualifications:
Experience in Electrical repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of Hydraulic, heavy equipment, trucks, and diesel engineGraduate in Automotive Course or anyVocational/Technical schoolAt least 3 years of technical experience in heavy equipment, mining, construction, hydraulic and transmission system.NCII certification is an advantage
