1. Maintains in-house fleet vehicles in operational condition in order to assure availability of fleet.
2. Performs periodic vehicle inspection maintenance and inspections.
3. Accountable for the daily execution of vehicle repair and compliance to company processes.
4. Ensure the road worthiness and safety of in-house vehicles.
5. Assess cause/s of engine failure/breakdown and recommend specific work to be done and spare parts needed for immediate repair of the vehicle.
6. Establishes and maintains quality standards to focus fleet management improvement.
7. Establishes priorities for the completion of work in accordance with periodic schedule.
8. Exercise proper store keeping of automotive tools and equipment including but limited to motor poll area
9. Prepares and submits statistical reports to supervisor by tabulating and/or analyzing data from various records and communicate effectively.
10. Performs other tasks that might be assigned from time to time
Job Qualifications
· Associate Courses Major in Automotive Mechanical/Technical.
· DOT Certification
· At least College Graduate
· At least with 5-10 years experienced with fleet or vehicle operations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required
· HD truck technical training or 2 years related experience
· Can Operate Grab lift/ Forklift
Specific Knowledge:
· Knowledge of general and preventive maintenance procedures for vehicles and related equipment.
· Knowledge of fuel and automotive product handling and storage procedures as well as proper disposal methods.
· Knowledge of engines and controls
· Knowledge of transmissions and controls
· Knowledge of brakes and suspensions
· Knowledge in Mechanical & Transportation
