Technical Service Engineer (with HVACR experience)

DescriptionProvide interactive customer care and solutions via phone, email, portal/online and facsimile to supplement refrigeration and Building (HVAC, Lighting, Power etc.) controls applications.  This is done through troubleshooting problems in Refrigeration & Building Facilities’ controllers and achieving a satisfactory resolution with customers.Responsibilities1. Provide technical assistance to all customers thru phone, email and faxa. Answer all phone and emails from both internal and external customers with the highest level of quality and service.b. Maintain log sheet of calls and emails for proper reporting and review.2. Programming of Einstein 2 Controllers with the use of appropriate reference documents.a. Programs for new E2 Controllers.b. Existing/previous controller model programs translated to the E2 platform.3. Creation of Graphical Custom Screens using the standard tools and templates which include mapping of Graphical Instruments and installation into PC.4. Generation of weekly and monthly reports on timea. Weekly log sheetb. Monthly log calls, emails, Controller Programming & Custom Graphical Screens.5. Provide product and process training to GSC employeesa. Develop contents of the training modules identified by the School Of Excellence.b. Maintain the training materials in a common directory or GSC website.6. Work with the team in system and process improvements and other value added projects as identified by the senior/leadAdditional FunctionsServe as Escalation for Engineer 1 and developmental Subject matter expert for the following but not limited to:1. Programming2. Integration3. Module Creation4. CAD5. Application RelatedRequirements• Mechanical Engineering graduate with HVACR experience and basic understanding in electrical circuits’ operation and components.• Electronics & Communications Engineering graduate with basic knowledge of HVACR• Electrical Engineering graduate with basic knowledge of HVACR.• 3-5 years hands-on experience in the field of HVACR including controls and instrumentation.• Experience in Refrigeration Rack Systems and Supermarket Refrigeration systems.• Basic understanding in Electrical circuits and can interpret Circuit diagrams.• Basic Computer Hardware, Software & Networking (IT) skills• Excellent in English communications• Excellent PC skills with MS Office programs• Ability to adapt quick changing priorities• Good team player• Willing to work on shifting operations which may include weekends with scheduled days off, to support the assigned business and customers• Must be able to effectively and independently function while maintaining a positive energy level in an environment of constantly shifting demands• Analyze Issues• Drive for Results• Foster Teamwork• Build Relationshipsabout EmersonAt Emerson, we are innovators and problem-solvers, focused on a common purpose: leaving our world in a better place than we found it.
