The Safety Officer Level 3 is responsible for monitoring and assessing hazardous and unsafe situations and developing measures to assure personnel safety and facilities’ maintenance.

Qualifications:
Candidate must posses at least a Bachelor's Degree at Engineering, related to Environmental Management.Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Engineering or Medical Field is an advantageAt least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized Engineering/ Safety Officer/ PCO duties and responsibilities.Adept in all facet of Environment, Occupational Health, and Safety requirements and compliance.Intermediate computer skills and Microsoft Office SuiteHigh Administrative Skills and Multi-tasking SkillsExcellent Verbal and Written Communication SkillsMust be BOSH Certified and PCO CertifiedResponsibilities:
Occupational Health and Safety
Promotes occupational health and safety within the organizationInspects workplaces and workplace equipment to ensure they meet safety regulationsIdentifies hazards and risks in the work placeEnsures that the workplace conform with organizational procedures and safety standardsEnsure personal protective equipment (such as hearing protection, dust masks, safety glasses, footwear and safety helmets), is being used in workplaces according to regulationsRecords and reports hazards, accidents, injuries and health issues within the workplaceInvestigates accidents and unsafe working conditions, study possible causes and recommend remedial actionAssists on the rehabilitation of workers after accidents or injuries and make sure they experience a satisfactory return to workCoordinates emergency proceduresReports the status of occupational health and safety programsCompliances
Works with LLDA and relevant pollution control, learning the regulatory requirements thereofAssists HR with DOLE compliance for healthy workplace and relevant policiesEnsures that the organization is aware of, and complies with, all legislation relating to its duty of care, workplace activities and the use of its plant, equipment and substancesOccupational Nurse
