Planner

Qualifications:Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Others) or equivalent.Minimum 3-5 years planning experience, of which 2 years on a construction site.With experience in power station or power generation industry.Must be Primavera Certified.Has strategic and analytical thinking abilities.Has strong report writing skills & communication skills.Must be residing and willing to be assigned in Mariveles, Bataan.Immediately available.Responsibilities:Maintenance of the Owners Project Time Schedule.evaluations and review of the contractor’s Schedule.Preparation and review of the planning and schedule reports, as well as other design, procurement, construction, and commissioning related reports.Assist in the development of cost factors as well as productivity factors in conjunction with the Project Cost.Assist the Project Manager and Junior Project Manager with the development of the Project Cost Control Plan.Review and update of the Project Cost Schedule (Analysis of Budgeted versus Actual costs, Analysis of Budgeted versus Actual invoicing).Review and update of the Project Time Schedule (Analysis of Planned versus Actual on time and quantities, Analysis of Planned versus Actual manpower of the contractor/s).Facilitation of progress and cost meetings with the site project team as well as the contractor/s.Coordinate with the internal departments and address the Project schedule related concerns with Contractor.Highlighting of areas of concern to the Junior Project Manager and the Project ManagerExpedite and monitor the daily work allocation and daily feedback to the team.Analysis of the impact of early warnings, variations, delays and other such deviations on the project time and cost schedules as well as deviations related to regular updates.Facilitation of interfaces between owner and contractor to ensure harmonious and parallel works take place.Facilitation of contractor/s meetings to discuss progress on the schedules.Assist project controls manager for the lessons learned, monthly report, project closeout report including but not limited to.Preparation, distribution and proper storage of regular schedule reports including but not limited to 1. Schedule Reports (2 Week Look Ahead, 3 Month Look Ahead, 6 Month Look Ahead, Critical Path, Monthly Schedule analysis report) & 2. Graphical Reports (Project Overall, Physical Progress per area, Manpower histograms, BCWS vs ACWS and forecast).
