Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible in the preparation and processing of realistic, accurate and adaptable budget estimates to which the entire construction project will be based on. The position will also ensure that the project is completed within budget through the constant evaluation of the quantity, cost and quality of supplies used as well as the labor cost incurred to mobilize the said project. It is also important to seek ways on minimizing the cost but still providing the team value for money while adhering to the strict regulations which govern every aspect of the project.Educational Background/ Special LicensesA graduate of a five-year BS degree program with concentration in Civil Engineering and related courses. A civil engineer license is an advantageTechnical Competencies:Three to five years of proven experience in cost analysis in a construction company.Excellent communicator and possess impressive numeracy and financial management skills to handle the financial and mathematical demands of the jobGood working knowledge in MS Excel and the ability to learn how to use special softwareThe ability to write clear and precise reports and to relate complex information in a simple way to a diverse range of peopleDetailed knowledge of past and current building and construction technology, processes, materials, business and legal matters.
