The Network Operations Technician in Bacolod is responsible for the maintenance of plant, which includes maintenance of Nodes, RF amplifiers, power supplies, passive electronic devices, pole clamps, alley arms, grounding, guys, fiber optic and coaxial cables. Maintenance activities include ensuring all standard optic power, RF input and output and noise signal levels are met, and that their physical upkeep and attachments to messenger wires and poles are maintained. When a Plant Trouble advisory is created, he is expected to attend to it urgently and tries his best to restore the signal or service at the soonest possible time. during the course of the troubleshooting, he shall relay to this superiors and/or backroom support group the status, expected restoration time and additional support needed, if any. The Network Operations Technician is also tasked to attend all Fault Orders assigned to him promptly and courteously. He is expected to carry out his tasks with expertise and ensure a long term fix or solution is undertaken to each and every Fault Order.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Engineering and must be a Licensed ECECisco certification or any equivalent certificateWith at least two (2) years experience in HFC & Telco operationOpen to Fresh Graduates with Licensed EngineerSkilled in CATV, IP or LAN/WAN NetworkKnowledgeable on IP Network SystemsWith professional driver’s license with restriction code 2 & 3
