Some duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Preparing shop detailed drawings, elevations and marking plans for approval and fabrication purposes utilizing Tekla Structures.Reading and interpreting architectural drawings, engineering drawings, surveyor’s drawings and site information to produce detailed shop drawings.Creating fabrication drawings and reports utilizing Tekla Structures.Following up RFI’s to ensure projects are completed within required lead timesReproduce and maintain the RFI register for each projectResolve documentation conflicts/issues proactively and promptly.about You:
Licensed Civil Engineer - required.Minimum of 5 years experience as a Structural Steel Detailer.Proficient in Tekla Structures - requiredAdvanced knowledge of steel manufacturing and fabricationBe capable of working independently and undertake final checking before issuing shop drawings for fabrication.High attention to detail in compliance with relevant structural steel codes & standardsExcellent communication skills (verbal & written) and the ability to articulate to various stakeholders and clients - are required.Be able to prioritize work using excellent time management skills to meet deadlines.Innovative, creative and lateral thinkerHave a strong sense of personal accountabilityCompetitive Salary Negotiable-
