Product Manager (With BSS/OSS experience)

Qualifications:Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.At least 5 year(s) of working experience in Product ManagementExperience in the telecom industry or knowledge of OSS/BSSDomain knowledge in any of the following: satellite communication systems, cable high-speed data, DSL, billing systems, provisioning systems, BSS, OSS, data warehouse, or CRM (customer relationship management).Applicants must be willing to work in Mandaluyong or BGC Taguig.Responsibilities:Product Managers are responsible for the development and delivery of new products and services as well as improvements to existing products and servicesThey are key members of cross-functional product development and delivery teams that typically include engineers, technologists as well as representatives from marketing, finance and quality assurance teams. Product leads liaise with different members of the development team to drive projects forward.They work with Technology Leads / Manager and other engineers to agree on a working architecture and present relative trade-offs to certain approaches. They also work with Test Leads and Managers to determine edge case scenarios and proper handling on the customer side.Project management skills are essential to bring product development programs to a successful conclusion -- on time and within budget. Product Managers / Leads develop schedules for each phase of the development program and monitor progress against targets. They also set up reviews at each stage to ensure the program is meeting its objectives as it progresses from concept to specification, design, development, and launch.Identify and manage launch of improvements to existing productsWork with relevant project managers to oversee all approved projects for own portfolio, ensuring that projects deliver the required features and benefits outlined in the business case on time and on budget and actively managing risks/issues that may occur to minimize their impactOwn the process for prioritizing defect fixes and small product enhancements to ensure that a 
good balance is achieved and that customer reported defects are assigned a suitable priority to 
maximize customer satisfactionReview relevant user documentation and ensure that all changes to products are communicated 
clearly and fully to both internal and external customers to minimize queries raisedManage product quality and costIdentify opportunities for cost reductions and quality improvementsIntegrate consumer feedback into product design and enhancementsWork with Strategy & Operations to improve overall product qualityMeasure and analyze existing products for opportunities to innovate and improve in features, positioning, price etcAligns with other product houses on a regular basis to ensure alignment of products being developed.Execute programs across applicable delivery platforms in coordination with Platform Mgmts.
