FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER

REPORTING TO:   Managing Director

JOB DEscriptION:

The Finance and Administrative Officer reports to the Managing Director and is responsible for providing financial, administration, ad hoc tasks, and responsibilities. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

FINANCE

Owns and manages the whole billing and collection process - reviews account information, corrects discrepancies, and ensures that accounts are properly billed and that payments are collected.Payroll Management - Ensure that all payroll transactions are calculated and processed efficiently – benefits, tax calculations, deductions, overtimes, etc.Processes essential government compliances: Business Permit, BIR Registration, SSS, DOLE, among othersYou are also expected to perform elements of accounts payable (reimbursements) and light bookkeeping responsibilities.Developing ad hoc financial and operational reporting as neededCoordination with Bank transactions

ADMINISTRATIVE

Monitoring Deadlines/Due dates of activities and deliverablesLocal Government Liaison - supervising/processing of essential Government requirementsRecord ManagementPolicies and ProceduresMemorandum Issuance201 File ManagementMonitoring and ordering of supplies w/c includes maintenance of office equipment and computersOther duties as assign

QUALIFICATIONS

The Finance and Administration Officer must have proficient knowledge and skills in the following areas:

·      Degree qualified (Accounting or Finance related course)

At least 3-5 years’ experience as Finance and Administrative OfficerExcellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skillsKnowledge of office administration and bookkeeping procedures.High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountabilityGood Attention to detailStrong math and computer skillsAbility to build relationships with clients and internal departmentsAble to work with minimum supervisionKnowledge of taxation and payroll is an added advantage
