We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Electrical Drafter to join our Mining and Energy Team
Main Activities and Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)
Delivering projects under strict timescales with uncompromised qualityManage team resourcesTeam Resource planningDelegate tasks to the drafting teamContribute to the development of team membersContribute to improving team standards and processesEnsuring Team processes and standards are followed QA checking of all deliverables and outputsProject multi-discipline co-ordinationManage setup, co-ordination and delivery of projects independentlyWorking knowledge of WSP's organisational capability Digital Engineering and how to access it.Working knowledge of systems, procedures and practices. Working knowledge of organisational approach to risk management, ethics and safety.Regularly seeks business opportunities via effective Client-centric practices.Qualifications (Minimum and Desirable):
Tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering and/or design draftingExperience, skills and organisational knowledge
Highly proficient in design drafting for the electrical power or infrastructure industry including primary and secondary systems electrical design and electrical industry structural elementsFamiliarity with standard documentation management and workflow systems including ProjectWise, BIM 360
Familiarity working with remote teams via Skype, Teams or similar electronic communication tools
