COVID Health Officer (1 year project-based for Bacman Sorsogon)

JOB SUMMARY:The COVID Health Officer is responsible for providing health support to the assigned site in the effective implementation of EDC’s Corporate COVID mitigation strategies, including all its programs and activities with the ultimate objective of reducing the to acceptable levels the risk of COVID among employees and workers at Company Facilities and business activities.He/she plans, organizes, and collaborates with the site OH Lead and site IMT & CMT to implement the various company COVID protocols and guidelines in the site, and continuously monitor performance and areas for improvement.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Drives execution in the site’s implementation of COVID guidelines and protocols in close collaboration with the site’s IMT & CMT, health & safety personnel, facilities admin, HR, CSR, and site project proponents.As subject matter expert on the company’s COVID guidelines and protocols, communicates these, including all changes and updates, to the site employees, contractors, and other stakeholders.Facilitates site implementation of the various arms of the Company’s COVID testing program in collaboration with site IMT & CMT and external medical providers.Spearheads the management of site COVID incidents, including contact tracing: identification and isolation of suspects and close contacts, facilitating medical referrals and evacuation, and ensuring proper conduct of infection-related disinfection by support personnel, under the technical guidance of the COVID Incident Management Lead.Maintains accuracy and timeliness in data gathering and data input into the Company’s COVID database.Support the Corporate & site OH teams and Corporate IMT in the implementation of Occupational Health and medical support, as assigned.Executes health, security, environmental and safety rules and regulations of the company;Practices recommended behaviors that adhere to the core values of the company;Implements and complies with company rules and policies; andPerforms other related duties that may be assigned (by superiors) from time to time.QUALIFICATIONS:Graduate of BS Nursing and with valid PRC licenseGraduate of other allied medical profession if with significant relevant experienceWilling to accept one-year project engagementSkills in: Microsoft Applications, including proficiency in use of excel spreadsheets and visualization tools, use of videoconferencing toolsAt least 2 years experience in occupational health program implementation in EDC (preferred) or similar industryAt least 6 months experience in implementing COVID programs Preferably local residents of Sorsogon or nearby towns/areasMust be open for 1 year project-based engagement
