1. Responsible in preparing realistic, adaptable and accurate initial budget estimates and cash flow projections.
2. Conducts quantity take-off and estimate on the various stages of the project including but not limited to the following:
a. Square Cost Estimate;
b. Schematic Design Estimate;
c. Conceptual Design Estimate;
d. Design Development Estimate;
e. Definitive Office Estimate;
f. Detailed Bill of Quantities; and
g. Value Engineering.
3. Responsible in the preparation of the electrical and auxiliary bid evaluation report.
4. Assists in the preparation of electrical and auxiliary bid packages and other bid documents needed in the bidding process.
5. Assists in the preparation of financial analysis and projections, construction agreements and other project electrical and auxiliary reports.
6. Represents the organisation in bid conferences and other project meetings on electrical and auxiliary aspects.
7. Transacts with contractors in behalf of the organisation, reviewing and evaluating the contractor's project offer for electrical and auxiliary works.
8. Prepares the needed documents for any project meetings.
9. Prepares any electrical and auxiliary change order evaluation and construction claims.
10. Ensures that all relevant Work Instructions and the organisation’s Quality Management System is being followed and applied in all works being undertaken.
11. Ensures that all deliverables and submissions are being checked and reviewed by the concerned department heads prior to release.
12. Works collaboratively with colleagues and other trades to ensure highest standards of services to clients.
13. Attends to team meetings and contribute relevant ideas.
14. Upholds standards by adhering to all company policies and procedures.
15. Exemplifies qualities that would encourage staff loyalty, teamwork and dedication to the organization.
16. Any other work or task as directed by the Assistant Quantity Surveying Manager-EE, Quantity Surveying Manager–EE, or the Senior Quantity Surveying Manager-EE.
