JOB SUMMARY:  This role is responsible for the preparation of financial statements, budgets for maintaining cash controls, accounts receivable and accounts payable and books of accounts, for ensuring compliance with local regulations and all reporting requirements. The nature of work at the branch office would require close coordination with and accountability towards the appropriate Guam Office authorities.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Maintain and reconcile Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable accounts. 2. Reconcile all bank and cash accounts. 3. Ensure that all invoices are properly recorded and are supported with documentation as required by BIR and SEC. 4. Ensure that EWT and CWT are properly withheld, remitted, and reported on all payments as required by law. 5. Ensure compliance with all tax and accounting related filing requirements of the appropriate government agencies.6. Ensure timely submission of reports and payment to government agencies. 7. Prepare payroll register and related reports as necessary. 8. Ensure compliance with De Minimis and other fringe benefit requirements. 9. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement. 10. Assist in preparation of the annual budget. QUALIFICATIONS:Education Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Licensed CPAExperience At least five (5) years of progressive work experience in an accounting function, with at least two (2) years in a supervisory capacityFunctional Skills: Computer literate, preferably with working knowledge in using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, etc.) • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports and legal documents (e.g. contracts) • Knowledge in processing payroll and filing corresponding returns with tax authorities• Must have knowledge in BIR and SEC requirements• People Management • Organizational development • People Skills • Ability to manage own work requirements• Ability to make sound business decisions
