The Clinical Revenue Integrity (CRI) Educator is responsible for conducting training and quality audits on production activity for members of the Revenue Integrity (RI) and Health Information Management (HIM) teams, that may include but is not limited to: Charge Audit, CDM Management, Billing Edit Resolution, Observation Charge Capture, Transcription QA, and Chart Analysis. The CRI Educator is also responsible for providing quality feedback to team members based on the results of training assessments and conducted audits, identify error trends based on audit results, and support the CRI management in conducting root cause analysis for observed training and quality issues. The CRI Educator will abide by all applicable policies and procedures set forth by Conifer.
Qualifications:
Five years of experience working in an RCM or HIM task such as medical coding, billing, intake, eligibility verification, utilization review, medical transcription, chart analysis, or medical records imaging.Completion of basic coding course (academic, seminar, workshop or facility based), including medical terminology and basic anatomy and physiology; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred:
Current active clinical license, such as RN or other healthcare-related board certification.AHIMA or AAPC medical coding credential involving CPT and HCPCS (CPC, CCS, COC, CCS-P, RHIT, RHIA), NAHRI (CHRI) or HFMA (CRCR).Work Arrangement:
