The Clinical Care Associate assists in assessing, implementing, and evaluating patient care within the nursing process framework under the Registered Nurse's direction. The CCA provides comfort measures and support in rendering nursing care, assisting patients in daily living activities, facilitating postmortem care, transporting patients safely to other units, documenting care rendered, and responding to clinical emergencies within the scope of practice set by the Nursing and Patient Care Services Division.
