Job Objective / Purpose
The Diabetes Counselor is responsible for the healthcare management of all customers and business development of The Diabetes Store. This means counseling patients of their respective health conditions and nutrition concerns, while actively promoting the store and its diabetes-friendly and healthy products. Likewise, he/she should do research, conduct marketing initiatives and develop content on diabetes management. The Diabetes Counselor will effectively manage the daily operations of the store during duty. This involves overseeing inventory and expiry of products, reporting daily sales, administering sales transactions, managing sales collection, displaying SKUs strategically and aesthetically, and making sure the store is well-kept and tidy.
Duties and Responsibilities
Achievement of Sales Target
Achieve monthly sales target depending on assigned branch per dayKnowledgeable in detailing of all products, services/programs, and promosEffective in cross-selling of productsRecommend and implement initiatives to boost salesStore Management and Customer Service
Handle sales transactionsEnsure products are always on-stockManage expiration of productsReview daily sales reports and assist in preparation of various reports required by managementMaintain customer satisfaction by being approachable, hospitable and courteous in addressing all customer inquiriesEstablish relationship with customers via regular communicationBuild and refine database of customersEnsure tidiness of product display and store space (if applicable)Recommend and implement techniques to improve store management and serviceApplication of Diabetes Counseling
Counsel customers in diabetes management and proper nutritionDevelop personalized TDS-oriented meal plans for customersDevelop patient compliance programs that track progress of customersPrepare and conduct educational modules on diabetes and nutritionConduct research on new products and diabetes practices the store can adopt and applyDevelop social media content on diabetes management, nutrition, and TDS promotions (provide monthly advanced FB Calendar posts)Background and Qualifications
Graduate of BS Nutrition/Community Nutrition or any other related course, must be a Registered Nutritionist-Dietitian (RND) board-certifiedPreferably a Trained Diabetes Educator (DE)Preferably with sales experienceStrong display of RCI’s Corporate Competencies and ValuesAbove average communication and presentation skillsPossess integrity and upholds high ethical standardsStrong customer service orientationAble to work independentlyYou may directly send your job application through the link below:
