• Deliver the approved CAPEX projects safely, on-time, within budget, and with good quality while achieving Project Objectives
• Render Process Design works for CAPEX Projects and Engineering Service Requests
• Work closely with co-design Engineers and Project Leaders to establish project timelines and design
• Conduct on site investigation, analyse data, and prepare option analysis
• Oversee continuous improvement efforts for companies in the process perspective
• Perform design works with reasonable cost in accordance to best safety practices and quality standards
• Conduct visit to construction sites to monitor compliance with design requirements and/or assist Construction team whenever technical difficulties are encountered during execution
• Define Detailed Design Criteria, Standards and Specifications, Statutory Requirements
• Prepare detailed design and engineering works including detailed engineering calculations, project schedule, general arrangement drawings, process flow diagram (PFD), and piping and instrumentation diagram (PID)
• Review Vendor Equipment documentation within the disciplines for compliance with project requirements
• Identify, source out, and evaluate proposals of suppliers/makers for projects or services
• Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with Organization and/or Project Objectives and Guidelines
• Perform design review with project stakeholders
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical or metallurgical Engineering
• PRC License is an advantage
• Must have at least 3 years’ experience as Process Engineer or Process Design Engineer
• Desirable: Ability to read and create P&ID and PFD, Risk Assessment and Option Analysis
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
