WHAT IS A SENIOR FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT?
Our awesome client, a leading agriculture company based in Australia is looking for a SENIOR FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT to be part of their team.
WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES?
· To manage the processing, analysis and reporting of financial transactions and information in accounts receivable, payable, inventory control and other accounting functions using computerised accounting systems.
· Maintain the financial accounts in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central .
· Preparation of month end financial data including accruals, reconciliation, and reporting
· Preparation of monthly and year End Consolidated Financial report and Cash Flow Statement
· Preparation of monthly Board Reports relevant to Finance department
· Preparation of periodic covenant report information for the banks
· Monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts and Inter-co
· Providing upkeep to the general ledger
· Prepare and provide information to the Statutory Auditors as requested
· Ability to identify opportunities to enhance and develop processes
· Management of relationships with suppliers including payment terms and cost saving initiatives
· Liasion with Category Team and Growers in regard to accounting for propagation of various products.
· Management of Accounts Payable and Receivable functions
· Adhoc tasks as required
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
· Sound knowledge of accounting procedures and financial systems preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
· Attention to detail, analytical and problem solving skills
· Ability to work in a fast paced diverse team environment
· Good written & oral communication skills
· Extremely close attention to, accuracy of, and passion for numbers and detail
· Advanced level in Microsoft Applications and experience using reporting tools
· Ability to maintain efficient office administration systems (both hard and soft) including maintaining effective filing systems
