Key Responsibilities:

Paraplanning

Develop and construct quality and compliant comprehensive advice documents and any relevant collateral for CFP's Authorised Representatives.Ensure all documents created are factually accurate, technically sound, editorially personalised and in line with relevant legislative requirements and CFP guidelines.Apply oversight to advice document requests received and collaborate with Authorised Representatives to ensure appropriateness of advice and quality of documentation.Maintain and develop good working relationships with CFP's Authorised Representatives and represent Capstone Financial Planning with professionalism and competence.Assist with the training and education of Authorised Representatives to optimise the utilisation of Paraplanning service and support.Assist in the development of processes and procedures for Paraplanning functions.Participate in ad hoc projects identified for the overall team to enhance services within the team or CFP.

Technical

Maintain current knowledge of the relevant rules, legislation and obligations relating to the financial planning industry, including appropriate technical knowledge and financial advice strategies.Proactively source and consider appropriate technical resource tools and information.Attend relevant industry technical update sessions.

Adviser Training

Assist with compilation and preparation of adviser training materials / reports as requiredFacilitate training workshops and deliver training presentations as required

Ad Hoc Projects

• Participate in and contribute to the successful completion of relevant projects as required

Key Points:

Experience

• Prior experience in Para Planning or Financial Adviser compliance is preferred.

• Prior experience in dealing with financial advisers.

• Experience in using all modules of Xplan software

• Extensive and up to date knowledge of Australian Financial services licensees and their advisers.

• Experience with all aspects of Microsoft Office as well as other relevant software applications.

• Relevant Tertiary qualifications are preferred

• Knowledge of Australian Financial services industry and products would be an advantage.
