JOB SUMMARY
The Demand Planning Manager supervises and oversees the Demand Planning team together in all demand management activities and provide guidance as needed. Works with management in planning operations. Identifies and develops demand plans based on trends and patterns. In charge of providing the organization customer and product forecasts. Recognizes problem areas and recommend solutions to continuously improve demand management.
JOB RESPonSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
· Analyze and troubleshoot demand related issues in a timely and accurate manner
· Develop routine and demand related reports for management
· Schedule forecast review meetings with management on regular basis
· Work with team to plan, coordinate and execute demand planning activities
· Update forecasts for new products, seasonal products, discounts, promotions
· Maintain demand planning processes to improve forecast accuracy
· Assist in developing annual budgets and cost-effectiveness initiatives
· Coordinate with Inventory Team to monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels
· Review purchase history, sales history and order plan for management approval
· Train Demand Planners and meet with other managers and executives to review strategies related to short-term and long-term planning
Coordination Meetings/Visits
· Attend to monthly Operations Meeting
· Attend to MANCOM Meeting
· Meet and discuss with Management and Department Heads regularly to discuss improvements and recommendations
· Meet with KAM and Marketing to align Campaign Calendar
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Educational Attainment:
Preferably a graduate of Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or any business -related coursesWork Experience:
With at least 3 years of experience as Demand Planning ManagerTechnical Skills:
Advanced skill in Excel and MS OfficeStrong knowledge of demand planning processes and proceduresAdvanced knowledge in ERPBehavioral Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skillsAble to work under pressure and meet strict deadlinesProven ability to train, motivate and lead successful teams of employees
