The Role
As a Switch Channel Specialist, you will provide support on debit switch channel services and ensure their availability, efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements. Directly responsible for timely creation/filing of BAU-related issues as escalated by Operations Group, ITG, TBG, Retail and other department/units, BancNet, and other scheme compliances using available ticketing system/tool, monitoring and resolution of tickets within agreed TAT between SBC and 3rd party switch provider. Assists in Switch-related projects and other enhancements.
How you'll contribute
Primary responsible for ensuring closure of incident tickets with proper root cause identification and resolution, in coordination with debit switch vendor, ITG, and Operations teams. Utilize established issue tracking and escalation process; organize periodic meetings with debit switch vendor and/or internal support teams to address aging tickets.Maintain and update documentation of switch service components as they are upgraded, enhanced, or deprecated - manuals, SLA, processes, guidelines, procedures, fees, costs, etc.Be able to assist in handling requirements gathering for projects, upgrades, enhancements, change requests, and service requests, needed for the debit switch. Help manage project meetings and follow thru with deliverables. Assist in the completion of Bancnet and MasterCard requirements for mandatory changes or projects to be applied to the debit switch system.What we’re looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Computer/Telecommunication, Industrial, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, and MarketingWith at least 3 years of relevant experienceAnalytical and critical thinking skillsAbility to analyze channel performance and make appropriate programs to increase profitability and usage of channels. Able to have an overall architectural understanding of the system and make necessary recommendations to resolve production issues.Keen to details, flexible, determined, and persistentExperience in banking or operations is an advantage
