Job Description:

We're looking for an Operations Team Leader to take charge of leading a product segment team to ensure consistent and reliable service. Grow and display your leadership skills by helping escalate issues, driving high performance SLAs, and managing the operational risk inherent in the processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day business relationships and servicesEscalate and resolve operational service issuesEnsure the team's work meets service-level standards and exceeds quality standardsReview, challenge, and evolve capacity models to ensure optimal utilization of resourcesHelp develop procedures and policiesDrive high performance by leveraging expertise in investment products, operational excellence practices, and in-depth knowledge of the transaction/customer lifecycleSupport and deliver on key priorities (e.g., periodic reviews on existing processes and submission of business cases for prioritization in the change agenda)Establish high-level credibility and build professional relationships with our business partners.Ensure customer-centered outcomes by enabling feedback channels to the business units to align expectations and prioritiesPeriodically refresh service timelines based on process changes to align to business requirementsManage and mitigate operational riskDevelop the capability and functional expertise of direct reports by establishing career development pathsEnsure adherance to the MBPS Governance model and Operating Standards

Qualifications

5+ years of relevant experience in Investment Operations, Fund Operations, Securities Operations, and/or Wealth ManagementRelevant people management experienceExperience in designing and deploying employee engagement initiativesStrong organizational and project management skillsStrong interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to work with complex financial issues and conceptsFamiliarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycleProficient in MS Office suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, and SharePoint
