The DME Medical Billing Specialist will be responsible for communicating with insurance companies regarding claims and may have some communication with patients and medical professionals. Your goal is to ensure that all submitted claims are accurate and contain all the necessary paperwork to reduce the number of rejections and follow up on unpaid / denied claims and submit appeals where necessary.

Job Details:
DME Medical Billing Specialist
Work from home
Monday to Friday | 11 PM to 8 AM
Responsibilities:
•Ensure Quality of work
•Ensure Compliance with Payors Guidelines
•Check and Correct relevant codes
•Submit and follow up on claims in a timely manner
•Post account charges and payments
•Process claims denials and insurance appeals
•Handle patient collection calls
•Resolve unpaid Claims and Denials
•Monitor Accounts for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
•Provide feedback to and collaborate with the Client on challenges and opportunities to improve processes and system
Qualifications:
•At Least 3 years’ Experience in Medical Billing
•Experience with DME Billing (Nice to have)
•Good Grasp of Medicare billing procedures
•Experience with one or more Clearing Houses
•Experience handling primary and secondary commercial payers
•Good English Communication Skills
