Adhere to and maintain required levels of performance in both Coding accuracy and productivityIdentify appropriate assignment of CPT and ICD-9 Codes for Physician and facility services provided in an Observation service setting, and Inpatient settingAbstract additional data elements during the Chart Review process when coding, as neededMaintain a thorough understanding of assigned Client Coding specificsPerform Coding duties as appropriate according to pre-determined schedulesReview and maintain a record of charts coded, held, and/or missingProvide documentation feedback to Providers, as needed, and queries physicians when appropriateMaintain up-to-date Coding knowledge by reviewing materials disseminated/recommended by the QM Manager, Coding Operations Managers, and Director of Coding/Quality Management, among othersParticipate in Coding department meetings and educational event.Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment).
