The position will report to the ISG APAC Data Monitoring Lead. He/she will be primarily responsible for managing bases/Accounts to the GFCID mappings as well as identify, research, validate, set up, maintain, and refresh legal entity reference data.
Responsibilities:
Role sits within the APAC Entity Data Management Team, whose responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:• Ensure the accuracy of the mapping of bases/Accounts to the GFCID.• Identify, research, validate, set up, maintain, and refresh legal entity reference data (leveraging internal/external stakeholders and data sources) on central repositories/applications; legal entity data forms an integral component of credit risk exposure; typically, data spans legal name verification, address, nature of business, ownership etc • Create process flows and procedure documents for function• Perform quality reviews of client reference data and our supporting processes/procedures• Assist in the development of a remediation strategy to cover general business requirements relating to reference data • Liaise with internal/external stakeholders to provide exception management reconciliation/reporting• Conduct analysis to map front to back data flows and provide subject matter expertise, providing input to project requirements to drive business, functional and/or system changes• Manage the delivery of projects spanning: Technology/Platform roll outs; migrations between various internal/external sources, and responsibility may include coordination and input on project delivery (planning, analysis, requirements gathering, governance, status reporting, scheduling etc.)• Work with the team to ensure continuous process improvement• Ensure compliance and adherence to set processing standards and controls
Qualifications
Experience in reference data management Experience in working with internal and external data sources to conduct due diligence (Bankers Almanac, Dun & Bradstreet, SWIFT, etc.)Experience of having worked in a banking environment (not essential but useful)Strong Microsoft skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint Strong focus on control and process optimisation and documentationComfortable working with large quantities of data Proven project and process management skillsProven people management skillsFlexibilityAnalytical capabilitiesProblem-solving initiativeGood communication skills with the ability to be assertive Ability to prioritize work and manage time appropriatelyOrganised with an excellent attention to detailProactive and able to work on own initiativeAbility to focus on high quality work while under pressureComfortable working independently in a dynamic and challenging environmentEducation
