The Logistics Assistant supports the purchasing process through maintaining purchasing tools and data, preparing the negotiation process. Responsible in canvassing and negotiating with all local suppliers and processing purchase order. In charge of insuring the supplier follow-up, order tracking, montoring and expediting. Prepare and process PO thru the system. Responds to internal customer and supplier inquiries.
Job Specifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Ability to meet deadlines and demonstrates effective time management skillsDynamic and strong engagement skills to readily communicate with internal and external customers.Demonstrates flexibility in operational strategy to meet the business requirements.Experience in automated system is an advantage.
