TRUCKING DISPATCH COORDINATOR

Directs and coordinates activities of Chief Operator and Trailer Driver. Establishes priorities and schedules deliveries in a manner consistent with customer service goals. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directs and monitors Driver/Chief Operators’ daily activities and performance based on requested deliveries.Schedule and dispatch drivers, equipment or service vehicles to appropriate locations according to customer request, specification, or needs.Notify drivers/Chief Operator of work assignments to ensure on-time movement of goods to maximize operational efficiency. Maintain daily delivery log containing delivery time, job number, truck required, etcManages maintenance of trailers and trucks. Reviews driver’s trip tickets and approves driver’s expense reimbursement.Prepares and submits daily trip reportsEnsure efficient utilization of drivers and equipment.Identify and resolve daily scheduling issues.Inform and escalate service issues to superior and management as appropriate. Maintain timely and professional communication with customer contacts on issues impacting service and overall performance. Monitor and promote safety in all areas of dispatch. Other general affairs as indicated by superior from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree of any course At least 3 years of experience in the same fieldKnowledge and experienced in Car Carrier HaulageMust have knowledge in using Microsoft Office application specially MS Excel At least one year of supervisory experienceAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline driven work placeEffective and professional communication skills, interpersonal and teamwork skills with internal and external customersAbility to access, analyze and act to resolve daily and ongoing issues. Ability to initiate process improvementsExtremely reliable and detail orientedExcellent multitasking skillsStrong customer service skillsHas a valid driver’s license is a plusAbility to take on additional duties as neededWilling to be assigned in Sta. Rosa, Laguna from Mondays to Saturdays in shifting schedules
