JOB PURPOSE:
Customer Service for Freight Forwarding is in charge of the overall process of domestic and international freight transaction and will be responsible in tracking the consignment product information. This position requires to work hand in hand with all assigned external accounts that requires freight services. It will also involve managing enquires and queries, tracing and tracking and keep customers updated at all times. The position’s main accountability is to ensure excellent service standards by efficiently complying with the customer’s set service level agreement and maintain high customers satisfaction.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible in receiving complete bookings details from Sales/ ClientIn Charge of scheduling with airlines, shipping lines and other mode of shipping requirements for precise assignment of departure and arrival of cargoes in client’s given delivery address.Responsible in booking of FCL/LCL to specific shipping lines if necessary (Air/Sea)Seek pertinent or relevant document to client and sales if necessary, before dealing with client cargo.Act as main personnel to receive, book, and schedule deliveries, and monitor pick up, delivery, distribution of products and materials.Responsible in the transition of shipment details to the Branch Managers.Accountable to customer’s or shipper’s questions and complaints arising while the cargoes are in transit and delivered.In Charge and accountable in supervising, monitoring and overseeing the assigned team leader accurately and safety check, load, unload all products and materials from pick up, during transit until unloading at the destination port. Responsible in maintaining implementing and cascading strict documentation of cargoes from pick up until delivery while maintaining its accuracy and completeness of documents.Ensure all documents is intact and complete, such as billings of landing, packing list, dock receipts, certificates of origin and all pertinent documents based on the agreed policy.Accountable in securing the Proof of Delivery is accomplished and submitted by the branch office within agreed lead time.Ensure that there is a constant communication between SLC (As being the representative) and the client.Accountable for all unnecessary cost incurred due to negligence as compliance with the policies and procedures for the execution of an excellent service.-
