Senior Distribution Planner

FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

Bachelor’s Degree in industrial engineering or Business (IE preferred)3 to 4 years planning experience, able to perform tasks with minimal supervisionData Analytics, Materials Requirements Planning, Production Planning, Kanban ReplenishmentAbove average knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel use.Basic knowledge of internet navigation and other MS Office applications is a must.Good oral and written English communication skills.Ability to work with minimal supervision; Strong analytical skills; Attention to detail; Ability to work well with the team

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

Purchase Order Planning

Analyze and maintains an accurate, realistic, executable, stable, and timely PO releases within stated Kanban parameters, satisfying customer demand and optimum inventory levels.  Consistently updates PO’s / releases to reflect real-time customer consumption to meet delivery goals and customer expectationsExamine and present information driven data to screen and control execution of PO’s, aligned with production rates, inventory targets, and is able to report and explain deviations and propose corrective action.

Finished Goods Kanban

Support the CSR manager in maintenance and accuracy of the Kanban boards from empty, in-process, in-transit to full.  Able to perform FG Planning through Kanban, eipk, or other pull-type systems:Working knowledge of Pull parametersCreates and maintains Pull calculatorsAligns high-level planning changes to Pull parameter changes

Logistics Planning

Responsible for the movement and accuracy of all work in process and finished goods inventories, in addition to in-bound logistics functions.

Inventory Management

Able to provide inventory management data useful for the enforcement of optimal inventory levels:Bridge actual versus expected inventory performanceIdentify root cause of excess and shortage in inventoryIdentify and implement containment and preventive actions against inventory performance exceptionsproject ending inventories considering PO movements and improvement actions

Coordination between Manufacturing Site and Customer Service

Develop a key working relationship with manufacturing plant materials manager, production manager, quality and logisticsWork closely with customer service manager on supply related inquiries, expected past due, allocation and priorities. Able to contact and work with the production facility and suppliers with no hesitation, addressing problems that may arise and taking control of implementing proposed solutionsAll other duties that may be assigned.
