JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Organize travels as per the clients’ specifications and wishes through booking flights, accommodation, rail, securing rental transportation and assist with visa and insurance enquiries
• To ensure all Queues (GDS) are checked and cleared daily. (ex. schedule changes, auto ticket reject, Concur and various GDS segment updates)
• To ensure all PNR’s have been properly remarked with action or information notes, every time you speak with a client or travel arranger/assistant
• To claim commission on all applicable bookings and to ensure they are issued before the ticket time limit expires
• All quotes are the best rate available using the account’s snap code/published or private fare
• To ensure that the traveler’s membership numbers and NEXUS pass are attached on the PNR
• Error on fares in GDS is immediately reported to your Team Lead or Manager
• Book air tickets using flight pass
• You are properly logged into your phone for your entire shift time (ex. On queue is turned on)
• All calls are handled professionally using appropriate business etiquette with the utmost professional care and voicemails must be taken care of immediately
• All requests (phone and email) are taken care of the same day, including quotes, changes, and complaints. Invoices and e-tickets are sent out the same day a ticket has been issued
• Run the appropriate script for each account and fill out all the necessary information needed before queuing to ticketing
• Coordinate with hotels directly for new bookings/changes, invoices, and billing
• Additionally to your daily responsibilities, you will also be assigned certain queue management responsibilities
• Expected to attend onsite and offsite training seminars/meetings
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Candidates must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent
• At least 2 years Corporate Travel Industry experience
• Required Skill(s): Amadeus
• Knowledge of TravCom reservation systems is an asset
• Understand how to fare construct using net, published, and private fares within GAW (internal contract management system) and GDS
• Strong customer service skill
• Strong knowledge on world geography
• Strong knowledge of airline routings
• Strong sales ability
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English for client interaction
• Can speak/understand French is an advantage
• High level of attention to detail and data accuracy
• Can work with minimum supervision
• Applicants must be willing to work in shifting schedule
• Understand how to action queues within GDS
