LOGISTICS OFFICER (Nova, QC) ASAP

JOB DEscriptION: Achieve a high level of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring the quality of goodsMeasure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performanceOrganize and maintain inventory and storage areaEnsure shipments' and inventory transactions' accuracyCommunicate job expectations and coach employeesDetermine staffing levels and assign workloadInterface with customers to answer questions or solve problemsMaintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project warehouse statusIdentify areas for improvement and establish innovation and adjust existing work procedures and practicesConfer and coordinate activities with other departments QUALIFICATIONS:Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Industrial), Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.At least 5 years (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.May be required to hold any relevant management qualifications relating to a Distribution Manager. May be required to understand a company’s operational systems and provide input for the development of future systems.Must have a high level of communication skills as their job focuses on the communications between different parties and ensuring good customer satisfaction.Requires experience within the transportation and warehousing industry to monitor the flow of logistics and understand the complex systems of inventories, delivery times, costs and personnel management.Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and may also be required to be familiar with industry-specific computer programs.Perform other related tasks instructed by immediateWilling to report to Novaliches, QC plant on a daily basisWilling to work extended hours and during holidays
