Financial Planning and Analysis Lead

Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the preparation of the Finance deck in the monthly Board Report and quarterly Board meeting slidesPrepares the company's budget and rolling forecasts, taking into consideration any updates on the original strategic planLeads the annual Budgeting cycle (preparation, deliberation, presentation, and execution) in close coordination with Commercial, Procurement, and other department headsBuilds and updates profitability and cash flow models needed for capital calls or for any other purposePreparation of ad hoc financial projections in collaboration with Accounting, Finance, Procurement, and Operations Ensure compliance with Loan covenants, flagging any risks of non-complianceLeads and directs project management tasks assigned from time to time. Ensure on-time submission of team deliverables through proper planning and organizing 

Qualifications: 

Has 4 or more years experience as FP&A/Budgeting and Forecasting Supervisor or ManagerExperienced in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and monthly analyses and reportsExperienced in leading Budget deliberations and presentations to managementExperienced in the preparation of ad hoc financial projections and analysisExperienced in building and updating profitability and cash flow modelsExperienced in managing, monitoring, and compliance with Loan covenantsShould have a strong personality and keen attention to detailStrong compliance and analytic skills CPA, CMA, or CFA - a plus. Strong knowledge of accounting and financial conceptsStrong financial modeling skills, analytical and computer skills (excel, PowerPoint)Can communicate effectively with other teamsStrong problem-solving skillsProject Management skillsAbility to digest and simplify technical information and have effective discussionsWorking knowledge in using Power BI - a plusAbility to learn and work quickly Can get things done on or before deadlines
