Treasury Assistant
JOB SUMMARY (The position's general functional summary)
The position is The Treasury Assistant is responsible for the proper monitoring of disbursements under DMCI Power Corporation (DPC) and DMCI Masbate Power Corporation (DMPC). This includes check preparation, issuance of check payments, collection of official receipts from various suppliers and administrative functions under the Treasury and Finance Department.
ACCOUNTABILITIES (What is the position accountable for?)
The Treasury Assistant is liable for the accurate preparation of checks which includes precise details and minimal cancellation. He or she should review and ensure the correctness of any mandatory forms attached to the request before checks are processed.
Pertinent documents related to Finance and Treasury Department should be accounted for by the Treasury Assistant which includes unused checks, ready checks for issuance and for signature; any forms, receiving copies, files and log books that may be deemed useful as reference of the Accounting and Audit Department.
Coordination of checks for transmittal to different provincial sites should be properly monitored including statutory payments due to various government agencies.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education (Degree, Licensure, Certifications): Graduate of any 4-year course, Finance or Business related course is an advantage
Work Experience: Fresh graduate but preference will be given to applicants with 1 year work experience.
