SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Tax Assistant shall be primarily responsible for accurate computation and timely filing of all tax returns of all Companies to be submitted to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR). FUNCTIONS:
Ensures timely and accurate submission of tax returns and related attachmentsEnsure timely booking, recording, and reconciliation of entriesReview of the companies compliance to tax rules and regulationsUpdate on new issuances by the BIR Assist during audits of the national and local taxing authorities by preparing the requested documentation, reviewing supporting work papers and drafting responsesPerforms other duties as assigned from time to time by his superiorRegular monitoring and filing of tax documentsQUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree of Accountancy; CPA is an advantageAt least 2 year of work experience in tax or in a real estate industry is a plusGoal-oriented and self-directed, can work with less supervisionExcellent Excel skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organization and time management skillsTeam player, pro-active and willing to work extended hoursAbility to work quickly and accuratelyEmployee specialized in Finance - Audit/Taxation or equivalent.
