Accounting Assistant (Accounts Payable)

Qualifications:

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a plus.With experience in BIR reports and taxes is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure that RFD matches with PO, Invoices and related supporting documents prior preparation of AP Vouchers.Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports.Prepare Check Vouchers, schedules check release and ensures that payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding payables.Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing AP Subsidiary Ledger reports to GL balances.Prepare monthly Aging of Accounts Payable, Advances to Supplier and other related reports.Prepare tax schedules related to Accounts Payable.Enter new vendor profiles and other update in Vendor Masterfile.Ensures accurate and effective document preparation and records management relative to the AP function in accordance with records retention policies and procedures.Other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
